Just another day.

今天突然间好想有个兄弟姐妹。。。

I was at the Crimson for most of the day. But I slept until 11am...so most of the day was gone by the time I got to the Crimson. But I also went to a sports related career talk with Corrine Vitolo. She said the first thing about the industry is to not say: "I love sports."

That crushed a career option. I think I love baseball and tennis too much to be able to make myself think clearly about the future. So bleh.

Giants won yesterday. Which was awesome. But another day has passed, and I still do not know what to do. I feel like the sand in the hourglass keeps falling and I just can't keep up.

On the positive side, I love the work that I do for the Crimson. And it's one of those days where I have some ups and some other downs. I can do it. It's already Tuesday. Saturday is close! Hehe...these weekends have become my benchmarks. :)

Black Coffee

Some people say that they take their coffee with sugar and cream. But I take my sugar and cream with some coffee.

Woke up super earlier than usual today, and the dhall rewarded me with bacon. Always a plus. It's the little things in life...am I right?

Then I found out that my TF for the Chinese Gov and Pol class that I am taking was the TF of another gov class that I am taking. LOLs. I love them both...they are both extremely intelligent and down-to-earth. I would say that's a kickass combo.

This afternoon, I started reading "Factory Girls" by Leslie Chang...it's required reading, but it gives really valuable insights (especially for me I think) to the migrant workers' lives in China.

I have to say, I'm not the biggest reader ever. Shock. I never read very educational things unless required to. Fairytales are more of my style. But this Chinese gov class I am taking has presented me with some amazingly fun to read (and educational) books. And I finally got a chance to go to the used book store on campus today, haven't been there in a little bit. It smelled like old books. I love it.

Here is a view:

For now, off to finish homework, but later tonight, Giants game (Game 7, yes they made it!) and last presidential debate (but what's more fun of course is the SNL skit that follows).

Black coffee is too bitter. I don't like it. There are enough bitter things in life for everyone to deal with, why add to it with black coffee? I'd much rather see that layer of sugar sitting at the bottom of my cup at the end.

Officially blogging.

In the numerous blogs that I have started in my life (current and past...), many of the first few posts have been about the origins of my blog names....but it's time to try something different.

There is no theme for this blog. This is not an assignment for AP Bio (back in 2008). This is not an assignment for AP English (back in 2010). Nor is it for me to rant about how horrible my life is (because it's not).

So...let's a take a look at everything and anything.

It's only reasonable that I begin with a post about Los Gigantes (or as Buck and McCarver calls it "los 'gee'gantes...really? learn some Spanish).

Game 6. NLCS. Another elimination game (in fact, the 5th for the Giants this postseason). #rallyvogey.

I always love to root for the underdogs and explain the comeback stories to my friends, but the odds are waaaaaay against the Giants this fall. But of course, we are the "magicalness" makers, so I believe in them. :)

Confession: yes, I started off as a bandwagon fan back in the fall of '10 because my AP Physics teacher, Mr. Ratto, said that if the Giants won, we wouldn't homework. And back in high school, no homework = heaven. So of course I rooted for them. Then I saw Lincecum pitch. Fell in love~ And I couldn't get over the Giants ever since.

But the first Giants game I ever went to, potentional '12 NL MVPosey got in a collision at homeplate. #justmyluck.

But this year is different. Leaving it behind me.

We are starting anew, and there's always a lot more waiting for us in the future. And I'm making the best of it.

So, Imma keep this blog alive, yo.

That magical first post~

This is not the first blog that I have started in my life. Somehow today, with a little motivation from my friend, Karen, we have decide to start blogging (again). She will update hers, and I will update mine. And we can encourage each other on the way. Maybe this blog will go somewhere? Haha. :)

Karen, you see this?

As per Karen's request, we have to obsess over hot guys, such as Wilber Pan. I approve.
