Woke up super earlier than usual today, and the dhall rewarded me with bacon. Always a plus. It's the little things in life...am I right?
Then I found out that my TF for the Chinese Gov and Pol class that I am taking was the TF of another gov class that I am taking. LOLs. I love them both...they are both extremely intelligent and down-to-earth. I would say that's a kickass combo.
This afternoon, I started reading "Factory Girls" by Leslie Chang...it's required reading, but it gives really valuable insights (especially for me I think) to the migrant workers' lives in China.
I have to say, I'm not the biggest reader ever. Shock. I never read very educational things unless required to. Fairytales are more of my style. But this Chinese gov class I am taking has presented me with some amazingly fun to read (and educational) books. And I finally got a chance to go to the used book store on campus today, haven't been there in a little bit. It smelled like old books. I love it.
Here is a view:
For now, off to finish homework, but later tonight, Giants game (Game 7, yes they made it!) and last presidential debate (but what's more fun of course is the SNL skit that follows).
Black coffee is too bitter. I don't like it. There are enough bitter things in life for everyone to deal with, why add to it with black coffee? I'd much rather see that layer of sugar sitting at the bottom of my cup at the end.
